Before Pride was corporate-sponsored parades and rainbow-branded everything, it was a RIOT—a fight for survival. In the early hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in New York, the queer community fought back against relentless police brutality, refusing to be erased. Their rebellion ignited a movement.
Decades later, the echoes of Stonewall are louder than ever. “RESISTANCE” is a reminder that the battle isn’t over. Hate is rising, violence intensifying, and the times growing darker. But where there is darkness, resistance rises—and with it, strength.
This exhibition honors the legacy of queer rebellion, standing firm for a future where justice and freedom are non-negotiable. “RESISTANCE” is more than art; it’s a statement. A refusal to be erased. A promise to rise. Because when the world tries to silence us, we answer with light.
With love.
With hope.
With unstoppable resistance.

The (____) Gallery is a pop-up art event that regularly upends the rules of the existing art scene for a limited time.
In our halls at Hamburg‘s Oberhafen, we create an unconventional space for the raw, unfiltered voices of queer and marginalized artists and their allies. As a counterpoint to the sterile exclusivity of traditional white-cube galleries and the authoritarian gatekeepers of the art world, we celebrate diversity, creativity, and innovation while offering a vibrant, inclusive platform where artists take the lead and every form of expression is welcome.
An experience that challenges norms, celebrates underrepresented voices, and redefines the boundaries of contemporary art. Art in its most radical, daring, and revolutionary form.
For us, art is more than just aesthetics—it is a powerful tool that questions existing power structures, sparks provocative discourse, and demands change. Our exhibitions are imbued with a spirit of collaboration that defies the hierarchies of the art world and presents the political, social, and cultural contexts of the works unfiltered and uncensored.
Each event becomes an act of liberation, allowing visitors to discover new perspectives and connect with a community of creatives who reject conformity.
The (____) Gallery is more than just an exhibition space—it is a catalyst for promoting artists and ideas that rarely find a place in the mainstream, fostering a subversive, vibrant, and unconventional art scene that swims against the current. An immersive experience that challenges norms, celebrates underrepresented voices, and redefines the boundaries of contemporary art.
Art in its most authentic form—bold, brave, and groundbreaking.
