For over 20 years, the artist duo Mark Landwehr and Sven Waschk, collectively known as coarse, has been carving new paths in the tradition of sculptural storytelling. By exploring cultural motifs and sculpting with an architectural precision, the artists embrace their German heritage; but simultaneously they rebel against it, painting with intense colors and employing a sense of levity even when examining heavy themes.
coarse takes the melancholy and visual simplicity inherent to German art and fuses it with a sophisticated sense of irreverence, resulting in multi-faceted sculptures and a distinctively unique aesthetic.
Through exhibitions around the world (including in Hong Kong, Seoul, Berlin, Tokyo, and Chicago) and collaborations with the likes of Amnesty International, Warner Bros., Richard Mille for Pharrell Williams, DIESEL, Vans, and Ikea, coarse has earned international recognition.

The world of XO Henning is a world of yearning, of dreams, of lightness. It is a positive world created by the alter ego of artist Henning Schulze. With his mostly large-scale paintings, he creates dreamscapes, sanctuaries beyond the earthly realm. These are places of utopia, beyond all crises. Instead, with his art, he brings optimism and cheer back on track. “My art is energetic, leans towards grandiosity, and is garnished with meme-like punchlines”, says Henning.

Matt Scholz delves deep into themes of identity, objectification, and fetishization. Using digital sculpture, 3D scanning, and photography, he crafts surreal, personal and hyperrealistic pieces that defy societal norms and provoke intense reactions, from amusement to unease, arousal to discomfort. His focus on the human form—dissected, distorted, and reimagined—confronts us to face our own voyeuristic tendencies. By presenting fragmented, abstracted bodies, Matt exposes society‘s obsession with commodifying flesh.
Matts art is a raw exploration of introspection and liberation, challenging viewers to question their beliefs and recognize how much their thoughts and feelings are shaped by societal norms and social media.
